Feng works as Sustainable Finance Research Manager APAC at Vigeo Eiris (VE), an ESG research and rating agency. Prior to VE, Feng led water-nomics work at CWR (China Water Risk), an initiative specialised in water and climate risks analysis. He was the lead author of CWR’s report "No Water, No Growth: Does Asia Have Enough Water To Develop?", which highlights the importance of the Hindu Kush Himalayas for the future of Asia's economy. He initiated and led joint projects on the Yangzte River Economic Belt with the Foreign Economic Cooperation Office of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China. He also researched and co-authored water risk reports commissioned by financial instituions on key sectors such as power, mining, agriculture, electronics, and textiles. Prior to CWR, Feng worked as a senior carbon auditor on climate change mitigation projects across Asia and Africa, ranging from wind power, hydropower, solar PV, energy efficiency, to waste management. Feng holds two master’s degrees, one in Finance (Economic Policy) from SOAS University of London and the other in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University of Munich.
