Future Earth Asia Center has organized a series of Symposium on Future Earth in Asia since 2014. Objectives include cultivating a transdisciplinary research network in the region and identifying imperative research themes with a focus on Asia. The regular convening of such Symposium has also contributed to creating platforms for researchers and stakeholders to convene on Asia-relevant sustainability themes.
