Designing Impactful Communications for Transdisciplinarity – linking local and global actions for a sustainable future
Future Earth Regional Centre for Asia and the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature is organizing a seminar on “Designing Impactful Communications for Transdisciplinarity – linking local and global actions for a sustainable future” with Alistair Scrutton, The Director of Communications for Future Earth. The aim of the workshop is to discuss key elements needed to design socially impactful communications for transdisciplinary research projects. Some topics that will be addressed are: basic rules of communications in sustainability-based research, how to communicate risks and climate change, and how to link local actions to global initiatives such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Future Earth. We will also introduce communication activities in RIHN, and have a discussion amongst participants on how to create good communication activities and products for transdisciplinary research projects.
