Japan Geoscience Union and American Geophysical Union Joint Meeting 2017
Three sessions will be convened around 1) a wide range of topics including water-energy-food nexus, climate, land use, Sustainable Development Goals and co-design of research agenda; 2) intersection of geoscience and health science; and 3) healthy ocean and a sustainable use of its resources and services. These sessions will highlight design and production of integrated knowledge across disciplines and innovative transdisciplinary research approaches – what Future Earth fosters at its heart. While experts of a wide range of domains will congregate to present their research activities, the sessions will offer opportunities to exchange ideas and enhance further collaboration beyond arenas.
